Our Shophouses along Malay and Malabar Streets are conserved 1920s shophouses which are synonymous with the Peranakans. The Shophouse Rooms overlook Singapore's first fully air-conditioned street and enclosed five-foot walkways, and are a favourite with any guest who stays with us.
Our décor throughout the hotel draws inspiration from the ornate art and tapestry of the Peranakans. The intricate mirrors, batu ribbons and louvred windows along the corridors imbue the ambience with a feel of old Singapore and are artistic delights to behold.
